What age can my child start dance classes?
Children can typically start from age 2 to 3 years, depending on the class. We offer age-appropriate
classes for preschoolers up to teens.
Which dance styles do you teach?
We offer Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop and Acrobatic Arts classes, each tailored to different age groups and
skill levels.
Does my child need any dance experience to join?
No experience is needed for classes. We welcome children of all levels, and place them in
the right group based on age and ability.
How do I know which class is right for my child?
We offer a free trial class to help determine the best fit for your child.
Is there a uniform?
Yes, we provide a uniform guide after your trial class and can order all uniform and dance shoes for you
or guide you to a reputable supplier.
Do I need to buy dance shoes right away?
No, we always advise you to wait until your child has settled into the class. We encourage proper
footwear once your child commits to a class, but we’re happy to guide you after the trial session. We
also have a box of spare and second hand shoes that children are welcome to borrow while they
settle in.
How long are the classes?
Class length varies by age and level:
– Preschool classes: 45 minutes
– School-age classes: 45-75 minutes
Can parents stay and watch?
We typically do not allow parents in the studio during regular classes to help students focus.
However, we host parent viewing week at Christmas and have our annual summer show to show off
all our hard work.
For new students, parents are welcome to stay with them if they need a little extra support while
they settle into the class.
What happens if we miss a class?
Missed classes can sometimes be made up in a similar class during the same term—please check
with the instructor.
Do you offer dance exams or grading?
Not currently, we follow the syllabus of recognized examination boards (e.g. RAD, ISTD & Acrobatic
Arts), however we do not currently offer examinations. This is something we may offer in the future.

Are there opportunities to perform?
Yes! We organize annual shows, and also perform at local events for students to showcase their
skills.

form and get you booked in for a trial lesson.
What are the fees?
Fees depend on the class type and length. We charge monthly and offer multi-class discounts.

Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts for students enrolled in multiple classes.
My child is very shy – is that a problem?
Not at all. Our teachers are experienced in working with young children and help them settle at their
own pace.
